Kiiroo Review: Onyx Plus

The Kiiroo Onyx+ is the new and improved version of the Kiiroo Onyx 2, with a host of exciting new features. 

The movement feels different from the Onyx 2, which only has the contracting motion, no stroking. This added sensation makes the Onyx+ significantly more pleasurable than its predecessor. 

The motors in the Onyx+ are insanely strong, producing up to 140 strokes per minute. However, this added strength does not mean added noise, with the Onyx+ being much quieter than the Onyx 2. This is one of my favorite updates since users can now discreetly use this toy without alerting everyone in their home to their naughty activities! 

Another thing I love about Onyx+ is the way it looks. It has a sleek black exterior and high-tech touchpad controls, giving it a very modern look and feel. I also love how light it is, making it easy for users to hold for extended periods of time. No longer will you get cramps in your hand just trying to reach completion! 

This masturbator is incredibly well-made, so with proper care, it should last you for years to come. However, the added quality comes at a cost. This toy costs around $219 on Kirroo’s website, which isn’t exactly cheap. So, if you’re looking for a budget masturbator, this may not be the ideal pick for you.

What is the Build Quality Like?

In my opinion, one of the most significant design improvements of the Onyx+ is its exterior surface. Whereas the Onyx 2 has a glossy, sleek exterior that made it a little slick to hold, the Onyx+ has a firm, matte finish that is easy to maneuver when things get wet and slippery! 

When it comes to the interior, both the Kiiroo Onyx+ and Onyx 2’s sleeve is made from RealFeel fleshlight, which is a soft, supple material designed to replicate the feeling of real skin. This sleeve is lined with tiny bumps, which adds to the sensation. 

The interior sleeve is reusable. All you have to do is wash it with some soap and water, and it’ll be ready for round two! Unfortunately, the Onyx+ only includes one sleeve, so if you break it, you’re out of luck, and you’ll have to buy a new one. 

The Kiiroo Onyx+ and Onyx 2 are both made from body-safe silicone and ABS plastic, so you can feel safe inserting your member inside of this toy. 

Like its predecessor, the new Onyx+ isn’t waterproof. So, make sure you remove the interior fleshlight sleeve before cleaning to avoid breaking your device! 

How is the Onyx Plus In Use?

Before you use this toy, you’ll need to charge it for four hours until the light on the front is solid red. Once it’s all juiced up, take off the protective ring, and put your fleshlight sleeve into the device. As a side note, the protective ring is difficult to remove, so I recommend using a blunt object, such as a coin, to help you gently remove the ring. 

Once your sleeve is inside, put the protective ring back on, and you’re ready to go! Apply lots and lots of lube inside of the machine and on your member. Please don’t skimp on the lube! Using enough will make your experience so much better. 

Next, put yourself inside the machine and turn on the Onyx+. You’ll now have the option to choose from three different modes, interactive mode, manual mode, and automatic mode. I’ll go over each mode’s perks in detail below.
