Hiking Sex Tips for Trails and Wilderness

Hiking Sex Tips for Trails and Wilderness

There’s nothing like having sex in the great outdoors. However, there are several precautions you need to take to ensure that your sex on the trail is successful instead of a “natural” disaster!

Before you have hiking sex, you need to select a trail that has a lot of coverage. Additionally, you plan to hike on a weekday or early in the morning to avoid the crowds. Once you’re on the route, select a spot that has a good vantage point so you can see if other hikers are coming your way.

I’ll go over how to have sex on a hike. Then, I’ll tell you a few things you should avoid to ensure your wilderness sex is successful! Lastly, I’ll go through three of the best positions to try while having sex on the trail!

How To Have Hiking Sex

Choose an Appropriate Trail

Having sex in the wilderness is very exciting. Therefore, you may be tempted to skip the research process and select the first trail that shows up on Google for your sexual encounter.

However, this is a bad idea that may end up getting you caught! Therefore, you should do some planning to ensure the trail you select is ideal for hiking sex.

The most important thing you need to consider when selecting your trail is coverage. You need to ensure the hike you choose has lots of trees, bushes, rocks, and such along the route so that you have something to hide behind. Avoid picking hikes with few trees or a lot of open fields!

Additionally, if you’re able, you should select a route that’s more challenging, with some steeper inclines. The more difficult the trail, the less likely you’ll come across children or an elderly couple taking an afternoon stroll.

These people will likely be the most sensitive to your naughty activities, so it’s best to avoid them if possible!

Select a Good Day and Time

Often, hiking trails are overrun on weekends and holidays. Additionally, they’re typically busiest in the late morning to early afternoon.

Therefore, you and your partner should select a day and time when there will be fewer people on the trail.

Usually, hiking trails aren’t as busy Monday-Friday since most people are at work or school. Therefore, if you and your lover can take some PTO for your sexy date in the wild, that may be a good call!

Additionally, hiking trails usually aren’t too busy in the morning when they first open, around 6 to 7 am. Therefore, you and your partner should hit the trails as early as possible to avoid the crowds.

Depending on the time of year, it’s a good idea to bring a flashlight in case it’s still dark when you arrive. As the old saying goes, the early bird catches the “worm” (wink wink)!

Go to Higher Ground

While you’re having sex on the trail, you need to be able to see pretty far into the distance so you can tell if someone is headed your way. After all, hike sex is technically illegal, so you want to do everything you can to avoid being caught!

Therefore, you should select a high-up spot on the trail with a good vantage point.

You should be able to see down the trail, but those coming up the path should have a hard time seeing you. This will give you enough time to put your clothes back on and pretend that you were “observing nature” when the unsuspecting hikers pass by you.

Pack Some Clean-Up Supplies

Sex is inherently a bit messy. Therefore, it’s a good idea to pack some tissues, wipes, and hand sanitizer in your pack so you can clean yourselves off once you’ve finished. Doing so will make you feel more comfortable for the long hike back!

Bring a Trash Bag

No one likes a litterbug! To avoid being THAT kind of person, you need to ensure that all of your sex paraphernalia, such as condoms, are appropriately disposed of after the deed is done.

It’s a good idea to bring a small trash bag along for sanitation. This way, you can discreetly stash your trash away until you can find a bin!

Things You Should Avoid During Hiking Sex

Don’t Lay on the Ground

Laying on your back in the wilderness is a terrible idea. There can be all kinds of bugs, animals, and parasites lying in wait, such as ticks, spiders, and snakes.

Therefore, it’s best to have sex in a standing position instead (more about this below)!

However, if you absolutely must lay down, make sure you pack a towel or blanket so that you have at least a little bit of coverage.

Don’t Venture Too Far Off the Trail

To avoid being on the next episode of “Lost in the Wild,” please don’t venture too far off the trail!

While you want to be hidden, if you go too far off the trail looking for the perfect spot, you’ll face much bigger problems than getting caught during sex.

Therefore, you should always stay within eyesight of the trail. Additionally, it’s a good idea to bring extra snacks, water, and a map, just in case!

Don’t Do It Directly on Top of a Mountain

While having sex on higher ground is excellent since it’ll provide you with a better vantage point, doing it directly on top of a mountain is a huge no-go.

For starters, there likely won’t be much coverage if you’re doing it on the peak of a hill. So anyone walking up the trail will likely get an unwanted glimpse of you and your partner getting busy.

Additionally, mountain top sex can be dangerous. You may be so distracted by the fresh air, amazing views, and hot sex that you accidentally take a severe tumble.

So, do yourself a favor and pick a high enough location to give you a good view, but that won’t compromise your safety.

Best Positions for Hiking Sex

As I mentioned above, it’s best to have sex in a standing position. This will permit you to look down the trail to make sure no one’s coming. Additionally, you’re less likely to get bitten by something than if you were lying on the ground. I’ll go over three of the best sex positions for hiking in detail below:

Tiny Dancer Sex Position

Begin by standing looking at each other face to face. Then, wrap one of your legs around your partner’s waist. If you’re super flexible, you can put your leg up on your partner’s shoulder instead! Have them put one hand underneath your thigh for support.

This is a great hiking sex position since one partner can keep their eyes on the trail at all times!

Bend and Snap Sex Position

Begin by standing next to each other. Your partner should be behind you, and you should be in front of them, looking away. Next, bend over at your waist and let your partner enter you from behind. For extra support, rest your hands against a tree, log, or large rock.

Oral Excitement Sex Position

Begin by laying down a blanket or towel. Make sure you clear any rocks, sticks, or other items underneath the blanket that will hurt you. Next, kneel in front of your partner. Then, provide them with oral pleasure!

This is an excellent position for hiking sex since the receiving partner can keep an eye out for other hikers!

Final Thoughts

Hiking sex is beautiful and can be a lot of fun, as long as it’s done correctly!

Make sure you pick a good trail that has a lot of coverage. Additionally, try to go when the path isn’t busy, such as early in the morning or on weekdays, as this will make it less likely that you’ll get caught!

Try to select a high spot on the trail so that you’ll have a good vantage point. When you’re done, make sure you clean yourselves off and bring your trash along with you.

I hope this article helps you have some fantastic sex while hiking!
